How should I plan the installation?
This 42-inch version has a plug-in power connection and a 16-foot cord. Check the complete installed height, blade clearances and mounting requirements in the instructions supplied with your fan. Have a qualified installer assess the support and electrical connection before fitting the fan.
Can I use it in an outdoor space?
This exact version is listed as wet rated. Follow its installation instructions for the permitted location and mounting arrangement. The outlet and electrical connection need their own suitable outdoor protection; the fan rating does not cover those connections.
Can I adjust the light separately from the fan?
Yes. The remote has separate light and fan on/off controls. You can adjust brightness and choose 3000K warm white, 4000K natural white or 6000K cool white. Use the brightness controls on the supplied remote. This remote-controlled dimming does not establish compatibility with a wall dimmer.
Does it work with a smart-home system?

How do I get the right remote-pairing instructions?
Check the model label and compare the front and back of your remote with the supplied instruction sheet. Start with the battery type and polarity marked in its battery compartment. Pairing buttons and timing can differ between receiver versions. If the instruction sheet is missing or the remote looks different, contact us with those photos before trying another model's reset sequence.
What if the light responds but the fan does not turn?
If the light responds but the blades only twitch or fail to rotate, stop the fan and disconnect power. A responding light alone does not confirm that the fan drive is working. Tell us whether the fan worked previously and what happened when you last used it. Include the model label and remote photos; do not repeatedly reset it or open the motor housing to investigate.
